Friendship: how important is it and what does it mean to you??

When you hear the word friendship or friends, what come exactly to your mind? Do you ever think of your childhood friend or your classmates, your neighbor, or your seatmate? Do you have a friend? Or to be more specific, do you have true friend? When we are in a relationship, there are a lot of things that we do just to sustain it, to make it work and last. But I truly believe that there are only two things that will make and help the relationship stronger and happier. Honesty and Trust. If you are honest, you wont commit a thing that will break the trust of your partner. If you trust your partner, you will not question his/her honesty. The same is true with friendship. Friendship is something that will make your life worthwhile. It adds fuel to our whole being. True Friends will make you laugh, fart, tumbling while laughing., cry, then laugh and cry again. They will tell you if you are wrong and fight with you when they know you are right. They know your darkest secret but will keep it to themselves and will never use it against you. They know if you are faking a smile or hurting or is hiding something.

I don’t believe that having tons of friends makes you a good person or having few will make you less. Remember, quality beats quantity. 

In my case, Im the youngest among ten siblings, which means that the age gap of my sisters are quite far enough on my age, so I grew up with my brothers instead of hanging out with them girls. Although, all of my sisters are also my bestfriends, growing up, I had 3 BEST-FRIENDS which I am not blood related; Jayvhel - the genius, Keith- the angel, and Elsa- the playgirl (because she's the sexiest among us four)..me- I am the care-less, I don’t care less. They are the best friends that one could ever have, and I'm so lucky enough to have them. They are the reflection of me. (Although, they are so much whiter than me haha ) but even if I only have 3friends, I feel like I have millions..3beats a million. They are the persons whom I can talk anything under the sun. They are the three persons in the world who never tolerated me, nor leave my side when I need them the most. They are the three persons who are never afraid to tell me what really need to know. They are the three persons who would rather hurt me with the truth than pacify me with lies. And we're bestfriends until now. We don’t see each other often, but distance wont keep us apart. We communicate through facebook group message. We talk, we laugh and we reminisce. We talked on how AWESOME we are during high school. How we skipped classes just to pick and climb some fruits in our place. All of us are into reading, so, during vacant time, its either we chit chat about our crushes and how we are going to execute our most charming way to get their attention; or, we read, which sometimes we forget the time until no one is around the school anymore just us and the janitor, just because we're busy reading pocketbooks. Romance pocketbook. We trust each others so much, that our life is an open secret to us four. Even my parents, my nanay and tatay trust them, they wont ask any reason at all when I asked permission to sleep over. We are not a perfect/goodie goodie student, but we managed to have good grades, and we are always on the lists of students with honor. We declare and we believe that we don’t need anyone, just us. Most of the time we get bullied by some boys, but we know how to defend ourselves. Hence, Clover Girls 99 was born. We started calling our group Clover Girls when one afternoon, we noticed that the three leaf clover plants are growing around so fast in the field of our school, then someone brought up a topic about a movie where a leprechaun is afraid of a lucky four-leaf clover, so we started looking for one but to no avail, we couldn’t find any, hence we decided to declare ourselves the lucky four leaf clover, since '99 til now.. Until forever, im sure!
Having Friends are great, but having true friends is a blessing from God. Treasure it, protect it,and enjoy every single bit of it. Do not be a "front-only" kind of friend. What I meant of "front-only"? , it means that you act like a real friend in front of the person but you talk trash behind. Be a sincere one, do not be afraid to show how you really feel. Say no when you have to, do not pretend. Saying yes for the sake of pleasing a person is hypocrisy. You don’t want to be tagged as a hypocrite, I guess. If you're not comfortable with the situation, let your friend know it, that way, they wont add burden to you. You're friend is not a fortune-teller nor a guesser, they cannot predict or tell what is going on unless you tell them, so go ahead, say it and be true to it. Tell the truth and do not be a traitor. Friendship is a best relationship that you could ever have. Less expectations, no requirement, just be sincere and honest. It will give you the feeling of being secured because there are people around you who will join your flight in any way and will laugh, cry and be crazy with you. Having true friends is way different than having someone special. You don’t share intimacy, you don’t lust for each other, but you value one another as a family. That’s why True Friends is an extension of your family. So if you have true friends just like me, be thankful to the Lord, because He don’t want you to be alone and be lonely, that’s why He gave you that person, so be a TRUE FRIEND to your friend.

To my Truest Bestfriend, Vhey, Keith, and Elsa..I love you three, and I miss you so much . I promise that I will always treasure and protect our friendship, and will always be in love the three of you..Thank you for sticking with me all the way in every way..everyday!
