Why I am not afraid to say I LOVE YOU?

Because I believe, that…..

Time is my enemy. It runs so fast. No matter what I do to stop it for a while, it won’t.
I know we’ve reach the stage of human evolution where everything could happen in a snap of a finger. If you want to talk to a person who is miles away, call them. If you want to see their face, you can use skype. If you want to know their day to day activities, the food they ate, the places they visited, check out their facebook account. If you want to know how they feel at the moment, follow their twitter. We no longer have to give our best efforts to show how we really feel. We no longer write a love letter, or a simple note. Technology makes everything possible and fast, which makes us forget the things that we should be doing instead of using FB, Instagram, Skype, and other media account.

I noticed, today, especially on young ones, (not because I’m too old), they no longer say the most important words that they should tell to the people whom they really care. For them, “I love you” is a corny word. Or otherwise, they would use the word in a very shallow reason. They don’t really feel it at all. For me, “I love you” is a sacred word. You should say it to those that really matter to you, not just to the man you love or the girl you want, but especially to your family. Everyone should know that these words could brighten some gloomy day of someone. Hence, I believe that we should always take the advantage of saying it. Say the words to your aging mom and dad, to your fast growing kids, to your busy siblings, to your naughty nephews and nieces, to your best friends and to the one you really love.  It shouldn’t be just used to compliment girls or just for the sake of saying it. When you say it, make sure you really feel it, not just using it for fun.
I LOVE YOU. I am neither afraid nor ashamed to say it, but only to those I really love. Why? Well, why not? I love them, I care about them and they should know it and they should feel it. I don’t want to regret not saying the words when I should; aside from letting them feel that I love them. Time is running, and whether I like it or not, time will pass by. Every second is important for it will never come back. Time will never stick around, it will always shift, and before you know it, you are running out of time already. So grab every opportunity. Seize every moment. Capture every second. Say the words, before the words run out of you.

Time…you can never borrow or turn it back. So say the words! :)

P.S. I love you.

  3. When I was growing up, my relatives rarely ever hugged or said, I love you. Which seemed normal until I began dating and spending time with other families. So I didn't know what I was missing until I had experienced this gift of unconditional gratitude, simply for having been apart of their life.
    P.S. I Love You Eva!
